Hello everyone,
This weeks "assignment" was to work with Alcohol Inks. To tell you the truth, this is one thing that I have never tried before. It is pretty cool but I have a lot more to learn about using them. We were supposed to make a altered/distressed item using the inks, but I didn't have anything that I could alter/distress. So I went to what I know best, making a card using them.
The recipe for this card is:
Cardstock - Joanns
White Gloss Paper - Inkssentials
Alcohol Inks - Tim Holtz Adirondack Inks in Sail Boat Blue and Citrus
Flowers - Prima sprayed with Pearl Glimmer Mist
Brads - from my stash
"Thank you" stamp - from the $1 bin at Michaels
Remember, this is my first try with the inks so keep checking back, because I KNOW I will be making more projects using them! Thank you for visiting my blog and don't forget to check out the Paper Vineyard blog to see the projects from the rest of the team.
Have a great week!
Marijo
